Hmm. Very smart. But not smart enough. Let me tell you why.
There are great benefits to applying detergents in the form of foam on your vehicle as a pre wash. This allows the detergents to loosen majority of the dirt safely prior to making any physical contact. It is important to note that this pre wash stage removes majority of the dirt from the paintwork but not all of it. You’ll still need to agitate the stubborn dirt using a wash mitt.
It is important to note that using a wash mitt to wash your car is not the issue, but rather the technique is. You will be safe as long as the surface is properly lubricated whilst using the wash mitt to agitate to avoid any scratching.
After the snow foam pre wash stage some of the stubborn dirt is hidden when the paintwork is wet and is removed with the drying towel. This is a huge problem as there is a high chance of the paintwork getting scuffed during the drying stage.
Furthermore those who dry their cars using hot air there is another issue. The stubborn dirt that remained on your paintwork will cover some of the depth and clarity of the paintwork.
