The lack of integrity & consistency in the car wash industry gave birth to Jewels Passion. The industry in general has been deceiving both customers & employees for many years now with very little improvement along the way.
Trust and efficiency seems to be lacking and the pricing strategies and quality seems to be inconsistent throughout the region. It seems that both entrepreneurs & physical labourers combined have failed to work together in harmony to create an industry with high efficiency and integrity.
The birth of Jewels Passion took place during a time when the owner hit rock bottom in life and realised something is missing from his life. Severe depression struck him and he hated his 9-5 job.
It took him over 10 years to realise that he’s only following the dream of the people around him and not his own passion. It is through constant reflection that he realised what he was passionate about.
The owner has been extremely passionate about cars, and the industry in general, since childhood. He would often sit on the sofa, hold a bowl with a pillow inside as a steering wheel and a wooden spoon as a gear stick then set off on his imaginary drive. Then, a little older, he would fight with his siblings for the right to sit on the passenger seat of his father’s Mercedes Benz.
In fact, the very first time he drove a car aged 13 years old (Shhh), not only did he not stall, but he managed to change up to third. Anything car related was (and is!) second nature to him. He passed his driving test as soon as he became 17 years of age and that is when his journey began in the automotive industry. Stripping cars to bare metal and rebuilding for more than 12 hours a day was a walk in the park for him. He loved every part of the automotive industry from the perfection of the exterior body to the more technical functions of an engine. The only place he felt at home. No girls ever excited him as much as cars did. They used to think he’s insane spending countless hours building cars to perfection only to sell on and buy another project.
He was that honest kid in the block who in lived in harmony with others and will refuse to sell anything without it being in 100% working order.
Despite being passionate in the motoring industry, his family and the society around him pressured him towards getting an Economics degree that forcefully made him drift away from the automotive industry.
After years of constant self-battle he managed to graduate in Economics and build working experience through taking part in various short term business projects, the final position being a Business Analyst for the
NHS.
It is at the moment of rock bottom he realised what he actually developed during that 10 years. These years of difficulty reshaped the character of the owner. He realised thriving for constant improvements and achieving efficiency is what drove him. During these vital years he has gained great leadership skills and the ability to find solutions to problems and make constant improvements with limited resources.
Combining this knowledge along with the physical knowledge he already had allowed him to become the perfect individual to reshape the car wash industry, something that was due a very long time ago.
